Work With Us
The TEDx Program is designed to help communities, organizations and individuals to spark conversation and connection through local TED-like experiences.
At TEDx events, a screening of TED Talks videos — or a combination of live presenters and TED Talks videos — sparks deep conversation and connections at the local level. TEDx events are planned and coordinated independently, under a free license granted by TED.
Following are the ways one can be a part of TEDxSereneMeadows:
The Curator's job is majorly to decide who speaks at the event. A council of curators is created to judge, groom and develop speakers for the event. The major jobs here are: Reviewing speaker profile, finding the speakers who are best suited for the event, grooming the speakers for the talk and making them stage ready through a series of sessions.
MARKETING & SPONSORSHIPS
The role of the Marketing Department is to create and manage a strong online presence of the event, including website content, a blog and social media. They are also responsible for creating strategy to reach out to the right sponsors, right target audience for the event and create an online and on-ground media plan for event promotions. Sponsorship procurement and activations planning will also fall under this team.
They will lead all production and planning for the day of the event. They oversee all of the roles happening on the day of the event related to content production, stage management, technology, and video. They also manage most of your event’s day-of logistics, and are responsible for creating a “TEDx experience” for the guests. They serve as the contact with the venue’s staff, manage day-of event activities outside of the main stage, and are also in charge of ticketing and registration needs.
The volunteers will be assigned to different departments as mentioned above to assist the executive. The volunteers are free to choose their department as per their interests. The entire process of building up the event is going to be a learning process and hardworking will be awarded. Each volunteer will be awarded a certificate and a letter of recommendation for their work.
